LUUHC Newsletter 03/03/08

Hey guys,

 

This is your last newsletter from me! Just a few things this week to keep you all informed as to what is going on.

 

Firstly, if you haven’t read the club policies and sent me a reply yet could you please do so. Details are on the website; www.leedshike.co.uk

 

Secondly, sign-up this Wednesday is for our wonderful Easter Trip! Leaving on the 15^th March, returning on the 18^th. The cost is a BARGINOUS £45! This buys you three nights of camping on the gorgeous shores of Loch by Lomond, three wonderful evening meals and your breakfast each day. You will also be chauffeured up there by our wonderful drivers. Sign-up is as usual between 11.45 and 12.15. We will need to insist on payment at sign-up this time so please bring a cheque or money with you. Sunday members are also welcome to come along, so come and discuss it with us on Wednesday.

 

That evening it will also be the AGM! If you wish to stand for a committee position, have a say in who will run the club next year or even just have a great night out come along! We’ll be in the conference room in the ARC from 7.45 so I hope to see you all there!

 

Finally Sunday’s hike will be going to Hebden Bridge and public transport. Those who fancy it will be meeting at 9.15 am at Leeds train station leaving on the 9.35 train. No need to sign-up – just turn up!
